Born and raised in the picturesque Western Cape, Marissa developed a deep connection with the Cape’s rich culture and landscapes.

Marissa’s professional journey began in the wine production industry, where she honed her knowledge and skills and eventually ventured into exports. Life took a beautiful turn when she married a wine and fruit farmer, sparking her interest in the fruit export industry.

Beyond the fields and vineyards, her passions include escaping with a good book in one hand and a glass of fine wine in the other—a delightful blend of leisure and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
